PD19 series

Dushanzi is one of cradlelands for the petroleum industry in China. The first oil well was drilled here in 1909. Dushanzi Refinery Factory was established on October 17, 1936 and started refining with indigenous methods. Till now, it has an oil exploitation history for over 100 years and refining history for over 70 years. Dushanzi is an important petrochemical base in Western China, a strategic hub for importing, processing, storing and transiting oil and gas and an important gateway for ensuring national energy security. The pipelines of crude oil, natural gas and refined oil products are laid in place here. Four main sources of water are available, with a total supply capacity of 4m3/s. Two power plants are built here, with a power generation capacity of 450,000KW/h.

Dushanzi Petrochemical Company is a world-class enterprise integrating refining and chemical engineering. At present, the Company has 13,000 employees, with those with junior college degree accounting for 61%; has total assets of RMB 42.2 billion; has the crude oil processing capacity of 10mt/a, ethylene production capacity of 1.22mt/a and crude oil reserve capacity of 5 million cubic meters; has the capacity of producing 26 categories and over 600 types of refining products such as fuel oil, polyolefin, rubber and arene. The Company has been awarded the "National May 1 Labor Prize" twice and rated as the "National Civilized Unit" three times and "National Quality- and Efficiency-oriented Enterprise" four times, and is on the list of the first "National Environmentally-friendly Enterprises".

In this Project, nearly 3,000 instruments developed and manufactured by Jiangsu SFERE Electric Co., Ltd. are used, including intelligent measuring and controlling meters, intelligent digital display meters and power quality monitoring meters of PD19 series. The high-precision accurate measurement of various parameters and normal and steady operation of the meters and apparatus at high protection grade in complicated environment are thus ensured; the requirements at each level are met; efficient and safe operation of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company is guaranteed.
