SINOPEC Jinling Branch and SINOPEC Jinling Petrochemical Co., Ltd. are collectively referred to as Jinling Petrochemical Company which was established in 1982. Main business includes refining of petroleum and processing, production and selling of petrochemicals. The petroleum refining business can be dated back to the 1950s and was a major project during the period of the "First Five-Year Plan". The Company has complete crude oil processing means and strong production and technical strength and is the third largest crude oil processing base and the largest clean gasoline and aviation fuel producer in China and the largest production base of detergent raw materials in Asia. The Company has a comprehensive crude oil processing capacity of 18mt/a and possesses more than 60 sets of advanced production plants including petroleum refining, arene, thermoelectricity and alkylbenzene. All the main plants use the world's most advanced and mature process and technology. Technical-economic indicators are leading domestically and advanced internationally. The Company plays an important role in petrochemical industry distribution in Eastern China and regions along the river.

In this Project, safe and efficient production of SINOPEC Jinling Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is ensured by using more than 1,000 instruments developed and manufactured by Jiangsu SFERE Electric Co., Ltd., including nearly 700 sets of Sfere100 power quality analysers characterized by precise measurement of electrical parameters and perfect functions of electric power measurement and power quality analysis.
