Sanmen Nuclear Plant project
Sets of intelligent digital monitoring instruments
In July 2004, the Phase 1 project of Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant located in Sanmen County, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, was approved by the State Council. This is the second nuclear plant approved in Zhejiang Province after Qinshan Nuclear Plant, which was China's first self-designed and built nuclear power plant. Covering an area of 7.4 million square meters, six sets of 1.25 MV nuclear power units (AP1000) can be installed in Sanmen Nuclear Plant. After completion, the total capacity can reach 7.5 MV. With 25 billion RMB investment, the Phase 1 project includes the construction of two mega-kilowatt class pressure water reactor units, which are the most advanced units in China. No. 1 and No. 2 unit are currently under construction.
The project adopted hundred sets of intelligent digital monitoring instruments developed by Jiangsu Sfere Electrical Co., Ltd., which effectively monitored the current, voltage, and power rate of equipment in Sanmen Nuclear Plant and greatly reduced the potential of safety hazard. With various mounting dimensions, instruments and apparatus of Jiangsu Sfere Electrical Co., Ltd. can meet up with requirements for different trepanning and keep stable working conditions under complicated external environment.
