Belectric completes three solar farms in Israel

German Belectric Solar & Battery GmbH has completed three solar plants in the Israeli Negev Desert with a combined capacity of 34 MW as EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) provider on behalf of the owner EDF Renewables: »Pduyim« (14 MW), »Mefalsim« (13 MW) and »Kfar Maimon« (7 MW).

Since 2013 Belectric has completed 22 solar projects in Israel with a total capacity of around 260 MW. This year the company is building Israel’s largest solar plant with a capacity of 120 MW near the Kibbutz of Zeélim in cooperation with Solel Boneh. Commissioning is anticipated in 2019.
