Audi unveiled its new R8 supercar this week at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Audi have created four distinct versions of the stunning looking car, including the V-10 powered and the R8 LMS race car, but it must be said the R8 e-tron battery-powered model is a serious set of wheels.

The supercar is equipped with a large T-shaped lithium-ion battery.

The battery has a capacity of 92 kWh…

…with an operational range of 280 miles (450 kilometres).

Audi claim the battery takes less than two hours to fully charge.
