FARO 3D Scanner Will Feature at Upcoming TCT Show Birmingham

FARO Technologies, Inc. has just released the FARO Laser Line Probe HD. The power of the new high-definition 3D scanner seamlessly combines with the FARO Edge measuring arm to create what the company claims is the “most affordable, high performance contact/non-contact portable measurement system on the market.” As a recognized world leader in 3D measurement and imaging, FARO is well equipped to support this claim.

The lightweight and easy-to-use Edge ScanArm HD provides rapid point cloud collection with high accuracy and exceptional resolution. It is extremely versatile with applications in the automotive, heavy machinery, aerospace and energy industries among others. The innovative system can be used for product development; rapid prototypes and reverse engineering, as well as 3D inspection and quality control. It can quickly and accurately capture intricate parts in brilliant detail due to the 2,000 actual points per scanline. Additionally the Edge ScanArm HD has a much wider scan stripe which vastly increases coverage and scanning speed.

Attendees of the TCT Show Birmingham, that runs from September 30th until 2nd October, will be able to see live product demonstrations of the Edge ScanArm HD at stand B24, Hall 3A.
