School hall assignment for Deeley

Coventry-based Deeley Construction has been selected to build a new £7.5m assembly hall for Warwick School.

The new hall, big enough to hold all 1200 pupils for school meetings and events, replaces a 1960s-built hall that is no longer fit for purpose.

Deeley managing director Martin Gallagher told The Coventry Telegraph: “These are really exciting plans for a new site, which should have a big impact on the life of students and staff at Warwick School while providing minimal disruption during construction. It is a stunning design and I have no doubt that the completed project will lift the aspirations of everyone that uses it.”

The new building has been designed by Associated Architects.
