McLaren secures trio of warehouse projects

Logistics and warehouse developer IDI Gazeley has awarded McLaren Construction a trio of new projects with a combined value of £40m.

The work is for three separate warehouse development projects, including two located in Milton Keynes and other in Daventry.

All three developments will be constructed within a short timescale and will feature two-storey office accommodation, a security gatehouse, standard loading docks together with parking spaces for HGV trailers as well as cars.

The announcement follows the handover and completion by McLaren of a new 934,000 sq ft national distribution centre for IDI Gazeley at Magna Park Milton Keynes on behalf of Waitrose. The building was completed in a 32-week programme from the erection of the first steel.
