HIT welcomes arrival of SANY Hybrid RTG

Feb 13, 2017, 6 units of hybrid Rubber Tyre Container Gantry Cranes (RTG) from SANY arrived at Hongkong International Terminals (HIT), the first RTG deal of SANY Port Machinery this year.

Feb 13, 2017, 6 units of hybrid Rubber Tyre Container Gantry Cranes (RTG) from SANY arrived at Hongkong International Terminals (HIT), the first RTG deal of SANY Port Machinery after China’s Spring Festival. Before this delivery, 2 STS cranes were purchased by HIT in 2014 and then 2016.

The 6 RTGs are brand new hybrid machines of SANY Port Machinery that, for the first time, are powered by power grid, diesel generator and lithium battery. It also adopts the state-of-the-art technologies to offer unmatched performance, such as PDS system, GCP&IEM remote monitoring and diagnosing technology, full electric gantry jacking patented technology and frequency conversion anti-sway system. The rated hoisting capacity is 41 ton, span 23.47m, minimum hoisting height 20.75m. The arrival of SANY port equipment will bring new vitality to HIT and increase the efficiency of containers loading and unloading.

SANY Port Machinery is expected to provide more newest machines to Hongkong, enormously improving the operation in the ports and wharfs.
