Nanjing Data Center Project of FiberHome project

Sfere3000 power monitoring system

Nanjing FiberHome Cloud Valley Phase I located at No. 3, Hengtai Road, Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone was delivered for use on January 1, 2016. It has a total building area of 7,703.11m2, including 7,389.91m2 aboveground and 313.20m2 underground (including Data Center and Power Center). According to the design, total number of racks is 1008, total power supply is 8900kVA*2, average load per rack is 3.52kW/Rack and the maximum load is 6.0 kW/Rack, and multiple operators provide access. The reliability grade is T3+ as stated in Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers (TIA942) and the Computer Room grade is A as stated in the Designing Code for Electronic Computer Room (GB50174). Based on process load conditions in this Project and local meteorological conditions, the A/C systems of “water-cooled chiller + plate heat exchanger + chilled-water A/C for computer room” are used. The annual average PUE is around 1.54 and optimal PUE is around 1.45 by adopting measures such as enclosure of heat channel at the end and professional energy conservation. Overall design of FiberHome Global Cloud Data Center (Nanjing Base) Phase I is carried out as per an availability of 99.99% and operating continuity of 7x24h.

Sfere3000 power monitoring system used at this Base is independently manufactured by Jiangsu SFERE Electric Co., Ltd. Based on mature apparatus & instrumental technologies, computer technologies and network communication technologies, this system can realize such functions as data acquisition, state monitoring, fault alarm, data storage and remote control, meet requirements of FiberHome Cloud Center and facilitate high-efficient operation of FiberHome Cloud Center.
