Waste water clearing of “Aggerverband“ now performed with HILLER Decanter Centrifuges

Hiller GmbH

Three sewage plants of “Aggerverband“ (in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) were subject to extensive modernization of waste water technology. A decision has been made in favor of Hiller GmbH from Vilsbiburg. The most important argument here has been the economic efficiency.

The installation of the decanters for sludge dewatering was followed by substantial costs savings compared with the conventional technology: Before modernization started, chamber filter presses had been used. However, those did not have the required flexibility, anymore.

One dewatering concept for all three sewage plants saves time and money

Now these machines ensure an effective, continuous and – if necessary - 24 h sludge dewatering on the plants Büchel, Krummenohl and Bickenbach (NRW). This reduces the organizational work substantially when compared to the old process.

The dewatering concept with the Hiller decanter centrifuges finally has been used for all three plants. This saved time in administration work. Furthermore, the costs for spare parts and service works are also reduced.

The Aggerverband is very happy with the modernization and the cooperation with Hiller has been very smooth.
